The goal is simple: make quality educational content accessible to everyone, not just those with access to expensive coaching or textbooks.
2. Who Can Use Vyanu
To use Vyanu, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission.
- Be a real person — accounts for bots, automated systems, or fictional identities are not permitted unless you are a verified developer using our API (if applicable).
- Provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
- Not have been previously banned from Vyanu for a violation of these Terms.
By using Vyanu, you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are using Vyanu on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Your Account

- Take full responsibility for all activity that happens under your account
Account Security
Your password is your responsibility. Use a strong, unique password and do not share it with anyone. Vyanu will never ask for your password via email. If we need to contact you about account security, we will always direct you to log in through the official website — not via a link in an email.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised or are being used fraudulently.
One Account Per Person
Each person may maintain only one active account on Vyanu. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a ban, inflate reputation scores, or manipulate votes is a violation of these Terms and will result in the removal of all associated accounts.
4. Content on Vyanu — What You Can and Cannot Post
Vyanu is a community platform. The quality and accuracy of content depends on users like you. With that comes responsibility.
What You Can Post
You can post questions and answers related to exams, general knowledge, science, maths, language, history, current affairs, and any educational topic that is helpful to the community. Constructive debate, corrections, and explanations are welcome.
What You Cannot Post
You must not post content that:
- Is false, misleading, or deliberately incorrect (especially on health, legal, or safety topics)
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property right
- Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any person or group
- Contains obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit material
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activity of any kind
- Is spam — including repeated identical posts, unsolicited promotional material, or off-topic content
- Contains personal information of others without their consent (phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, etc.)
- Attempts to impersonate Vyanu staff, other users, or any real person
- Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to any system
Vyanu operates on a community trust model. Users can flag inappropriate content for review. Repeated or serious violations will result in content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban — at our sole discretion.
Accuracy of Answers
Vyanu relies on community-contributed content. While we encourage accurate, well-sourced answers, we cannot verify every piece of content posted. Always cross-reference important information — especially for health, legal, financial, or safety decisions — with qualified professionals. Vyanu is a learning aid, not a substitute for professional advice.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content
When you post a question, answer, or comment on Vyanu, you retain ownership of that content. However, by posting it, you grant Vyanu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, store, and use that content as part of the Vyanu platform — including in search results, featured questions, and promotional materials that highlight the platform’s educational value.
This licence ends if you delete the content, except where it has been quoted or incorporated into others’ answers.
Vyanu’s Content
The Vyanu name, logo, website design, platform code, and all original content created by the Vyanu team are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Vyanu’s original content without written permission
- Use Vyanu’s name, logo, or branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation
- Scrape, crawl, or extract content from Vyanu at scale without prior written consent
- Mirror or republish Vyanu pages on other websites
Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on Vyanu infringes your copyright, please use our Contact page and include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The URL on Vyanu where the infringing content appears
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
We take copyright complaints seriously and will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.
6. Community Rules and Reputation System
Vyanu uses a points and reputation system to recognise helpful contributors. Points are earned by posting quality answers that receive upvotes, having your answers marked as “Best Answer,” and consistently contributing accurate, helpful content.
Attempting to manipulate the reputation system — through vote brigading, vote swapping, creating fake accounts to upvote your own content, or any other artificial inflation method — is a serious violation and will result in reputation resets and account bans.
7. Prohibited Uses
Beyond content rules, you must not use Vyanu to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Vyanu’s systems, servers, or databases
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure or other users’ access
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or similar technical attacks
- Harvest user data, email addresses, or other personal information from Vyanu
- Use automated tools to post content, create accounts, or interact with the platform without our written permission
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract Vyanu’s source code
- Resell access to Vyanu or create derivative products based on our platform without permission

Vyanu may display advertisements served by third parties, including Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly labelled as such. Vyanu does not endorse the products or services advertised. Advertisers have no influence over the editorial content of Vyanu.

By Vyanu
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if:
- You violate these Terms or our community guidelines
- Your account is used for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
- We are required to do so by law
- Continued operation of your account poses a risk to other users or the platform
In most cases, we will warn you first. Serious violations — such as spam attacks, harassment campaigns, or large-scale copyright infringement — may result in immediate termination without warning.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Vyanu grows and evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users and update this page. Your continued use of Vyanu after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, please stop using Vyanu and delete your account.
